Penang Hill And Temple
Ascend Penang Hill, 720 metres above sea level by means of funicular railway. Enjoy the bird's eye view of Georgetown and feel the cool & refreshing air at the summit. Another highlight is Kek Lok Si, Southeast Asia's largest Buddhist temple perched against a hill slope in Air Itam. Marvel at the statue of the Goddess of Mercy and the 30 metre high Pagoda. See the "Pond of Longevity" home for hundreds of tortoises set free by devotees. |

Butterfly Farm & Spice Garden
Visit the Butterfly Farm in Teluk Bahang, a sanctuary for over 120 species of rare and exotic tropical butterflies. The farm is complete with a hatchery and offers daily live insect and reptile show. Next, visit the Spice Garden and learn about the spices that adorns our kitchen shelves. See for yourself the actual plants that bore those wonderful spices. Georgetown Heritage Tour
Explore the streets of Georgetown and its rich heritage. Admire the intricate carvings, woodwork and porcelain decor of Khoo Kongsi and the adjacent Yap Kongsi. After that take a leisurely trishaw ride through Chinatown to visit Peranakan Museum which houses some priceless antique collections of the Straits Settlement era. Penang National Park
The newly gazetted Penang National Park offers visitors an opportunity to experience many natural facets and habitats, especially the wilderness areas. An array of flora and fauna greets visitors along the trails of the tropical rainforest. Apart from monkeys and monitor lizards, migratory birds are frequently sighted at the mangrove swamps and mudflats. The sandy beach is also the resting place of the Green Turtles, which comes ashore between the month of April and September. This tour includes a 2-hour soft jungle trek from Teluk Bahang to Pantai Kerachut and a return boat journey of 30 minutes. Lunch and mineral water provided. |

Penang Spice Trail
Embark on an interesting journey back to the Spice Trade era of Penang. Begin the trail from Fort Cornwallis built in the late 18th century. Then from Little India where spice and curry powder are traded, proceed to the Western side of the island, see clove and nutmeg trees growing on hillslopes. Trail ends at the Tropical Spice Garden. Tour the garden planted with various type of spices and scrubs and visit the unique spice museum, the only one of its kind in the region. |

Monkey Beach Excursion

Footsteps of Francis Light
Penang or 'Betel Nut' Island was founded by Captain Fracis Light in the year 1786. As we trace the early history of Penang, we pass through Fort Cornwallis which Captain Light built to protect against invaders. At King Edward Place, view historical buildings such as the Town Hall and the Anglican Church. Visit Penang Museum for an understanding of the Straits Settlement history and culture. Stop at Royal Selangor Pewter to witness the art of pewter smithing using tin, mining of which started during the British occupation. Take a stroll from upper Penang road to view the Christian Cemetery where Captain Francis Light was laid to rest since 1794. Final stop is the Botanical Gardens, opened and gazetted in 1884 by the British, this 30-hectare garden has since become a significant contributor to the world's major herbariums. |
